Power and Generator
What the site can supply, what has to be brought in, where the generator sits so nobody hears it, and how cabling runs without crossing a walkway.
Camden and Macarthur
Camden and the wider Macarthur region give you something no function centre can: open country, genuine rural properties and the freedom to build a wedding from nothing. That freedom is also the catch, because on a blank site absolutely everything is your responsibility.
The most freedom and the most work.
A rural property or a marquee on a paddock is the most creatively open styling brief there is, and the most demanding. A reception centre gives you power, lighting, flooring, kitchens, toilets, wet weather cover, staff and a floor plan that has worked a thousand times. A field gives you a view.
Worth the extra planning.
The reason people do this is that the result is unrepeatable. A ceremony under established trees with open country behind it, a long table under a marquee at dusk, and a setting that no ballroom can imitate.
The styling instinct that works here is restraint outdoors and generosity indoors. Outside, the landscape is doing the work and heavy styling competes with it. Under a marquee, where the ceiling is fabric and the walls are usually nothing, lighting and suspended work earn far more than they do in a finished room.
Lighting is the highest value investment in a marquee. Festoon, suspended installations and considered lighting transform a tent more than any amount of table detail, and it becomes essential as the light goes, which in a field means genuinely dark.
Camden and Macarthur are within comfortable reach of Sydney, so travel here is included as part of Shabz Sydney coverage rather than charged as regional travel.

Slope, surface and how close a truck can get. A long carry or a soft track adds hours of labour and has to be known before the quote, not on the day.
Structures specified for an exposed site, with weighting or staking to suit the actual ground rather than a standard indoor spec.
What moves, how long the move takes, what time the call is made and who makes it. Scoped and quoted in advance rather than improvised.
Yes. They need more planning than a function centre because the site supplies nothing, but they produce results a ballroom cannot. A site visit before the quote is strongly recommended.
Yes. Camden and the Macarthur region are within Shabz Sydney coverage, so travel is included rather than charged as regional.
The plan is made in advance. What physically moves, how long that takes, what time the decision is made and who makes it. Where the wet weather option needs its own install, it is scoped and quoted up front rather than improvised.
Shabz does not hold stock, but all of it can be sourced and coordinated through the supplier network as one booking. How hire works.
Wedding styling starts from $5,000, and blank canvas sites generally sit higher because the floor, the lighting, the cover and the power all become part of the scope rather than being provided by a venue. It is itemised so you can see exactly where it goes.
Tell Shabz about your event and a considered response follows within 24 to 48 hours.
